NJMP Plans Weekend Full of Off-Track FUN for the Yamaha Superbike Challenge of New Jersey

Come for the Party, Stay for the Race! MotoAmerica returns to New Jersey Motorsports Park for the series finale race September 9-11

MILLVILLE, N.J. –There will be no shortage of fan activity at the Yamaha Superbike Challenge of New Jersey to be held at Neww Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) September 9-11.  Event organizers at NJMP have an exciting weekend planned to keep fans busy in between the world class racing on tap for the MotoAmerica series finale race. The fun kicks off Friday night at the Finish Line Pub with live entertainment, drink specials, delicious food and more!

Accelerate your fan experience all weekend! Tire burning action is not limited to the race track at NJMP. MA-Digital-NJMP-640x480 The Family Fun & Strider Adventure Zone will feature stunt shows from Bill Dixon, BMX Stunt Shows from Hell on Wheels, NJ Mini GP demonstrations, and Yamaha Champions Riding School Tech Talks. Suzuki Demo rides and Motorcycle-Superstore.com Aftermarket Expo will keep fans stoked throughout the weekend. The purchase of a ticket also includes access to the Dunlop Fan Walk and teams in the garage area – the access fans want most that they can’t get at other motorsports parks!

Upgrade to a Turn 3 VIP Experience! Located inside the climate controlled Officers Club on the back straightaway of Thunderbolt raceway, the VIP Experience gives ticket holders and exclusive viewing area of the action in the challenging Turn 3 section of the course. The Turn 3 VIP Experience includes food and beverage, exclusive access to the top of the timing tower, private autograph sessions, motorcycle parade laps, private elevated viewing deck and all the swag your VIP status deserves! Awesome Joe Racing Bikini Contest heats up the Finish Line Pub! The 6th Annual NJMP Bikini Contest returns Saturday, September 10 with an evening of drink specials, delicious food, beer pong, beach volleyball, live entertainment and more! Contestants have the opportunity to win over $3,000 in cash and prizes – the largest prize pool to date! Doors open at 5:00pm with a beer pong tournament starting at 5:30pm. NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Race September 17

The rising stars of NASCAR heat up Thunderbolt Raceway for the JustDrive.com 125

 MILLVILLE, NJ – New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) is gearing up for one of the most anticipated events of the season as the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East makes NASCAR’s inaugural visit to the Millville track September 17. The JUSTDRIVE.com 125 race weekend will feature two days of tire burning action with BMW CCA New Jersey as the race support series.

“We’re excited to head to New Jersey Motorsports Park in September,” said Chris Wright, NASCAR K&N Pro Series East director. “It’s a top notch facility that will showcase the immense competition and variety of talent in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. We look forward to putting on a great show for the fans in New Jersey.”

Since 2007, the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East has produced stars such as the 2011 Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne, 2015 Daytona 500 champion Joey Logano and 2014 NASCAR XFINITY Series champion Chase Elliott, along with NASCAR Next drivers Ryan Blaney, Kyle Larson, Darrell Wallace Jr., Daniel Suarez.

“We are expecting record crowds for this monumental first time event,” said Kevin Markland, NJMP general manager. “We are extremely excited to welcome the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East to New Jersey Motorsports Park.”

9/11 Tribute Ceremony planned for Yamaha Superbike Challenge of New Jersey, September 9-11

MILLVILLE, NJ – In honor of 9/11, New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) and MotoAmerica are saying thank you to all first responder and military men and women by offering a 10% discount and tribute ceremony during the Yamaha Superbike Challenge of New Jersey, September 9-11, 2016.

CaptureMotoAmerica will visit NJMP for its final race of the 2016 series and the crowning of its series champions. The series will conclude on the 2.25-mile Thunderbolt Raceway, a track that features 12 corners and a half-mile straightaway. Event organizers have a weekend jam packed with excitement planned on and off the track!

First Responder and Military Discount: Tickets are available online at NJMP.com. To receive discount, ticket buyers will enter the discount code “FIRSTRESPONDER” or “MILITARY” at checkout. Fans will be required to present proper ID along with their tickets upon arrival to the event.

“We will never forget what happened on 9/11,” said Mark Verrastro, General Manager of New Jersey Motorsports Park. “Never forget the lives that were lost, and never forget the men and women who sacrificed their own lives, if not their safety, to go in and save others – this is just one way we are saying thank you.”

9/11 Tribute Ceremony planned for Sunday, September 11: First responders and military members are invited to participate in a tribute ceremony during the Dunlop Fan Walk:

  • Emergency Vehicle lap of honor led by the NJMP Pace Car – featuring City of Millville Fire Truck, Ambulance and Police Car
  • American Flag folding ceremony – Cumberland Composite Squadron Civil Air Patrol
  • Moment of silence honoring lives lost
  • Opening Ceremonies

Fans have the opportunity to purchase small American Flags for $1 throughout the weekend to be placed in a memorial location on NJMP property in honor or 9/11. All proceeds will go to the National September 11 Memorial and Museum.
