MILLVILLE, NJ – July 6, 2012 – Cars, cycles and cool sports action will overtake New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP), located at 8000 Dividing Creek Road in Millville, NJ, and JSC Speed Rallycross Series’ event on Saturday, July 21, 2012, and the entry fee is only $30 per car-load* when purchased on-line by July 18.
The second in the Rally America U.S. Rallycross Series for 2012 at NJMP, the event format features Rally-style cars where five drivers line up to start all at once piloting high horsepower compact cars jumping and sliding through race traffic over a challenging short road course, made up of pavement and gravel, featuring jumps, unbanked turns, hills and transitions. During the race, each car must also take a “joker” lap at some point during their heat. A “joker lap” is a small detour normally over a jump that adds a level of unpredictability to the heat’s outcome by changing a driver’s strategy in an instant.

Also taking place on Saturday, July 21 will be the debut of NJMP’s brand new Obstacle Course, complete with more than 10 stations including plank, tire run and log wall climb – just to name a few. Be sure to join in the course naming contest, taking place throughout the summer, and win a free F1 New Jersey karting season pass (valued at $1,200) if the name you enter is ultimately selected.
