Over 500 Children to Benefit from 10th Annual Coats for Kids Drive Hosted by NJMP Green Flag Committee

Over 500 Cumberland County Children to Benefit from Coats for Kids Drive Hosted by NJMP Green Flag Committee

Atlantic City Electric, Bottino’s Shoprite, South Jersey Gas, and Ocean First Bank play major roles

MILLVILLE, N.J. (November 28, 2017) – Over 500 local children from 17 schools are scheduled to visit New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) on Friday, Dec. 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to enjoy their 10th Annual “Coats for Kids” holiday program hosted by the NJMP Green Flag Children’s Charities.

Cumberland County elementary school students, selected by their school, will choose a brand-new winter coat, a pair of gloves or mittens, a hat and a scarf, a book or two and then enjoy a hot, healthy lunch, plus a visit with Santa and some corporate mascots. Each item has been donated to the drive by corporations, Green Flag Committee members, and racers.

“The Green Flag Committee volunteers work hard to support our local children’s organizations,” said Don Fauerbach, founder of the NJMP Green Flag Committee. “For the tenth year in a row we are providing children in need with warmth and happiness during the holidays. We’re thankful for the support of our partners, our community, and all of the racers who have helped us raise the funds necessary to accomplish this special goal for local children.”

Leading the corporate contribution list are: Bottino’s Shoprite, South Jersey Gas, Atlantic City Electric and Ocean First Bank with their generous contributions. Bottino’s Shoprite Stores are donating, preparing and serving the complete luncheon for the children, and South Jersey Gas, Atlantic City Electric, and Ocean First Bank are providing funding to purchase a portion of the winter wear, as well as volunteering during the event.

The motorsports community has once again provided significant support for this year’s coat drive. The South Jersey Region of the Sport Car Club of America (SCCA) conducted a fund drive to benefit Coats for Kids, raising hundreds of dollars to help purchase additional winter coats during their recent regional races held at NJMP, and numerous Porsche and BMW racing clubs have also made substantial contributions.

If you would like to make a contribution to this year’s Coats for Kids event, all donations can be dropped off at New Jersey Motorsports Park. For more information on NJMP Green Flag Charities, or if you would like to make a corporate contribution call (856) 327-7201.

City of Millville approved plans for constructing 4 more phases of garage condominiums

MILLVILLE, N.J. (September 29, 2017) – New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) has been approved by the City of Millville to develop phases four through seven of Exotic Car Garages, adding to the continued growth and demand for the ultimate motorsport lifestyle in the South Jersey region. Phase I, II, and III of the Exotic Car Garage project marks the completion of the first zone of exclusive track-side real estate. Phase IV, the first phase in the second zone, is anticipated for 2018.

“We are creating an all-inclusive motorsports lifestyle, where security and sophistication meet,” said NJMP Managing Partner, Lee Brahin. “The Exotic Car Garages have not only been a great addition to the infrastructure at New Jersey Motorsports Park, but to the tri-state area.”

Your Life is Your Passion, and We Give You the Space

Plans for Phases IV through VII call for 28 total track-side units ranging from 1,000 to 1,500 square feet – all four structures totaling 36,000 square feet – with standard features including sprinkler system and CO2 detectors, water and flood drains, 24-hour security, asphalt driveway, landscaping, sewer and cable connections, lighting, an entrance door, ground-level sliding glass door, and ground-level patio.

Exotic Car Garages at NJMP are the choice when excellence matters, allowing car enthusiasts and collectors to transform their garage dreams to reality – each garage customizable, and as unique as the owner. Becoming a home away from home for many, New Jersey Motorsports Park has created the ultimate motorsport lifestyle, offering the built-in convenience of community amenities: 24 Hour Security, Clubhouse Pool & Restaurant, two world-class road courses, a private Drivers Club membership program, one of the top outdoor Go-Karting facilities in the United States, and more.

“The growing demand for Exotic Car Garage units speaks to a want and need for this type of development in our region,” said Brad Scott, NJMP COO. “We’ve been able to create a private country club environment, while catering to not only the wants and needs of an individual, but to an entire family, allowing people to turn their dreams into reality.”

Phase III Deposits Being Accepted

With the completion and sell out of Phase I and II of private garage condominiums, the demand for Phase III track-side units is higher than ever before. (August 16, 2017) – New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) announced today that K&N Engineering, Inc., has signed on as the presenting sponsor of the MotoAmerica double-header race weekend at the Millville facility, September 8-10, with the event officially titled the MotoAmerica Championship of New Jersey presented by K&N Filters.

K&N, a Riverside, California, based company that started with innovative products for powersports, has never forgotten its roots. This sponsorship adds to the company’s already impressive roster, which includes Kyle Wyman Racing and Yoshimura Suzuki.

“We’re excited to be a part of the MotoAmerica Superbike racing series at New Jersey Motorsports Park,” said K&N Powersports Brand Manager, Ross Berlanga. “Spectators get to see our products being used coming out of a turn and on the gas speeding down the track. It’s from great road racing, we’re able to create the superior quality and performance products you depend on for your bike.”

The partnership will give K&N Filters significant exposure in conjunction with marketing of this major race event, as promotions will appear in a wide range of regional and national media markets. It is the first time the organization has signed an agreement with New Jersey Motorsports Park.

“We’ve had a great history of sponsorship partners here at New Jersey Motorsports Park, and we’re excited to welcome K&N Filters into the mix,” said NJMP general manager Mark Verrastro. “Our facility is honored to be partnering with the world’s leading manufacturer of washable performance air filters and air intake systems.”

The MotoAmerica Championship of New Jersey presented by K&N Filters is set for September 8-10, 2017, on Thunderbolt Raceway, featuring 2.25 miles of asphalt, 12 challenging turns, and a one-half mile straightway.
