New Jersey Motorsports Park’s Third Annual American Red Cross Blood Drive
To Take Place Saturday, July 21, 2012 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
All Donors Will Receive Two FREE Tickets to the AMA Pro Racing Weekend,
presented by the American Red Cross, September 7 – 9, 2012 at NJMP!
MILLVILLE, NJ – June 28, 2012 – New Jersey Motorsports Park, located at 8000 Dividing Creek Road in Millville, NJ, has teamed-up for the third year in a row with the American Red Cross for the annual special event blood drive to raise awareness about the critical need for donating blood during the summer months.
This year’s blood drive is scheduled for Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the Officers Club on Thunderbolt Raceway from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and all donors will receive two 3-day event tickets for the AMA Pro Racing event (value of $65+ each), presented by the American Red Cross, September 7 – 9, 2012 at NJMP.
AMA Pro Racing is the premier motorcycle road racing series in North America and is universally regarded as one of the most competitive road racing organizations in the world. The Series is comprised of four production-based classes: AMA Pro National Guard SuperBike, AMA Pro Daytona SportBike, AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport and the AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Series. The weekend will also offer Track Walk with Pro AMA Riders, Parade Laps, Monster Truck Rides, Battle of the Bands, Bikini Contest, Food Eating Contest, Turn-3 VIP Packages and much, much more! And, as with most events that take place at NJMP, children age 12 years & younger gain entry for FREE!

Tornetta, American Red Cross Penn Jersey Communications Manager. “The upcoming blood drive on July 21st is vitally important to build a supply of blood that will help safeguard against a summer blood shortage.”
“We’re very proud to once again partner with the American Red Cross and host the blood drive at NJMP,” stated Brad Scott, General Manager, New Jersey Motorsports Park. “We know the community embraces this event each year and we welcome everyone back to participate again for 2012,” added Scott.
The American Red Cross Penn-Jersey Region supplies blood to over 100 hospitals in New Jersey and five counties in Southeastern Pennsylvania. A limited number of appointments are available so donors should make their appointment today by calling 1-800-RED CROSS or online at RedCrossBlood.org/PennJersey and use the sponsor code: 02214784. Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with parental permission in PA and NJ), meet weight and height requirements (110 pounds or more, depending on their height) and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. Please bring your Red Cross blood donor card or other form of positive ID when you come to donate.
