How Can I Get on the Track?
The No. 1 question asked by the public – ‘How can I get my car on the track?’
Luckily there are several ways!
- Become a NJMP Drivers Club member
- Participate in car club or motorcycle track day(s)
- Take advantage of one of NJMP’s Open Test days
- Rent the track & bring your friends (see above)
- Go for a spin on “Cruise Night,” the fourth Friday of every month (March – Oct.)
Make NJMP Your Organization’s Newest Track Day
Dozens of motorsports clubs and organizations refer to New Jersey Motorsports Park as their home away from home. From the East Coast to the West Coast, these clubs come to NJMP to challenge the 2.5-mile Thunderbolt Raceway or 1.9-mile Lightning Raceway, take advantage of on-site amenities such as dining at the Finish Line Pub in the Clubhouse or staying on property in a Villa.
NJMP has hundreds of track days available on it’s annual schedule and can customize a schedule to meet your group’s interests. For more information about renting the facility, please contact the Motorsports Operations department at (856) 327-7225.

State of New Jersey Chapter 62 – Motor Vehicle Racetrack Regulations
New Jersey Motorsports Park operates under guidelines set forth by the State of New Jersey’s Chapter 62 Motor Vehicle Racetrack Regulations. All parties renting the facility must abide by the parameters instituted by Chapter 62.
