New Jersey Motorsports Park hosts “The Devil in the Dark 12 Hour Endurance Race to Benefit the Arthritis Foundation” on April 28, 2012; 12-Hour Race is a Big Challenge for SCCA Racers
Third annual event promises big fun for fans of all ages; Spectator tickets just $10 in advance, kids under 12 FREE!
MILLVILLE, NJ – April 18, 2012 – New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP), located at 8000 Dividing Creek Road, Millville, NJ, will host its third annual 12-hour endurance race on Saturday, April 28, 2012 as the “The Devil in the Dark 12 Hour Endurance Race to Benefit the Arthritis Foundation,” returns to the 2.25-mile Thunderbolt Raceway.
The “Devil in the Dark” features nearly 20 different classes of sports cars from the South Jersey Region Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), and is scheduled to take place from noon until midnight, and thus far more than 40 cars have entered!
“The Arthritis Foundation is thrilled to partner with NJMP for this exciting event and support our Medical Honoree, Dr. David Dickerson, as he races his way to the ‘Devil in the Dark’ trophy,” said Linda Gruskiewicz, Executive Director, Arthritis Foundation, New Jersey Chapter. “ It’s a great way to help the 1.4 million people in New Jersey affected by arthritis.”
“For spectators, the ‘Devil in the Dark’ is more than just a race – it promises big fun for fans of all ages,” stated Brad Scott, General Manager, NJMP. “With FREE entry for kids under 12 years of age, along with adult ticket prices of only $10 in advance and $15 at the gate, this is a great event for the whole family,” added Scott.
